Get to Know Gina

Here's the thing about me: I'm a mental health counselor, a mother of two, and I specialize in helping women navigate the beautiful, messy, sometimes overwhelming world of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.

As a therapist, I bring both clinical training and lived experience to our work together. I get how vulnerable these seasons can feel—and I know firsthand how powerful it is to have the right kind of support.

When I'm not in session:

You can find me chasing my two wonderfully wild boys around, wrestling sunblock onto moving targets, tending to my plants (hence Greenhouse Therapy), or sneaking in some yoga between the chaos. I love weekend adventures, getting lost in old music, and discovering new audiobooks. My dog thinks she's the practice mascot and honestly makes a pretty good co-therapist.

My Approach

I'm integrative and trauma-informed, which is a fancy way of saying I use whatever tools actually work for you. Sometimes that's cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxious thoughts. Sometimes it's dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation. Sometimes it's family systems work for relationship stuff, or mindfulness for when everything feels too much.

Understanding where pain comes from helps us transform it. I'm a firm believer in "good enough" over perfect—especially when it comes to being a partner, a parent, or just a human trying to figure it out.

The therapeutic relationship is central to healing, and I genuinely delight in working with clients during life's big transitions—parenthood, relationships, career shifts, grief, and personal growth.

  • Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Barry University

  • Advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, The Postpartum Stress Center, The Seleni Institute, and Motherload Collective

  • Gottman Institute Level 2 Trained (because relationships matter)

  • Specialized training in Telemental Health (because convenience and confidentiality matter too)
